Often, yes — you pay retail for exactly what you want and we charge for the install. The trade-off: we can't warranty the fixture itself (the manufacturer does), and if a box arrives damaged or missing parts, that's between you and the retailer. We'll flag anything that looks wrong before we start.

Older two-handle valves have no pressure balancing, so a cold-water draw elsewhere spikes the hot side. Florida code requires pressure-balanced or thermostatic shower valves in new work — swapping the valve fixes it permanently.

If the new trim matches the existing valve body, yes. If you're changing brands or valve types, the valve behind the wall usually changes too — we'll tell you which situation you're in before quoting.

Standard swaps are same-visit work — typically an hour or two each when the shutoffs cooperate. You'll have a firm price before we start either way.
